Experimental research in condensed matter physics using techniques of the electron spectroscopy. Main interest is in the application of Angle Resolved Photoemission (ARPES) for studies of materials with strongly correlated electrons such as high critical temperature and exotic superconductors, low dimensional conductors, colossal magneto-resistance materials. Latest projects involved studies of the electronic structure of topological insulators and Van der Waals materials and development of the user facility for Spin-resolved ARPES. The latter is enabling studies of fundamental phenomena in new magnetic and topological materials which are important ingredients of the emerging energy efficient technologies.
