Although my educational and career paths may be described as somewhat unconventional, their unorthodox nature has shaped me into a uniquely qualified, dedicated educator and researcher and a respected, trustworthy colleague. I am equally at home in several diverse environments: the classroom, the academy, the office, the boardroom, the construction shack, the job-site, and online. I work well both independently and collaboratively. I pay close attention to detail and am recognized for my organizational, motivational, communication, and management skills, versatility, loyalty, and commitment. My eclectic industrial, academic, and pedagogical training and experience—combined with a positive and energetic approach to teaching and learning—have enabled me to establish rapport with the majority of my students, clients, and colleagues and to be an effective, creative, committed, and inspiring educator, networker, and leader inside and outside the classroom.
