Alex Aubert

Alex Aubert received the Dipl.Ing. degree in electrical engineering from ESME Sudria, Paris, France, in 2015, the M.Sc. degree in physics and engineering of energy from ENS Paris-Saclay, Cachan, France, and the Ph.D. degree from the SATIE CNRS Laboratory, Department of Magnetic Materials for the Energies, Cachan. After the Ph.D., he joined BCMaterial, Leioa, Spain, in 2018, as a Post-Doctoral Fellow to work on new permanent magnets in the European H2020 NOVAMAG Project. Since 2019, he has been a Post-Doctoral Fellow with the Functional Materials Group of Prof. Gutfleisch at the Technical University of Darmstadt, Darmstadt, Germany. His current research interest includes rare-earth free and rare-earth lean permanent magnets, correlation between material processing and magnetic properties, and design of novel experimental setup to characterize magnetic materials.
