Alessandro Pingitore

Alessandro Pingitore received the M.S. degree in medicine from the University of Pisa, Pisa, Italy, in 1991, and received the Ph.D. degree in cardiovascular physiopathology from the University of Milan, Milan, Italy, in 1997. Since 2002, he has been a Permanent Scientist with the National Research Council, Institute of Clinical Physiology, Pisa. He has authored or coauthored more than 60 published technical papers. His current research interests include human cardiovascular physiology of the extreme conditions and thyroid and heart relationship in normal and pathopysiological states.
