Alessandro Colasanti

I am an ESRC funded PhD student/researcher based at the UCL, Bloomsbury and East London Doctoral Training Partnership and Birkbeck, University of London. My research focuses on cybersecurity, paying particular attention to the (geo)political role of malware nomadism. Outside academia the goal of my writing commitments are directed to civilian cyber & digital security. I also contribute short analyses to the Italian Institute for International Relations Analysis (IARI) in the Security and Defence section. For IARI I curate an interview series on their social media platforms named Geopolitica del Confine (Geopolitics of Borders). It is a space for young Italian researchers that engage with discussions on territoriality.
