Alain Reineix

Alain Reineix (Member, IEEE) was born in Neuvic-Entier, France, in 1961. He received the master’s degree in electronics and telecommunications and the Ph.D. degree in electronics from the University of Limoges, Limoges, France, in 1984 and 1986, respectively. In 1986, he joined the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS), IRCOM Laboratory, University of Limoges, as a Researcher, where he has been the Research Director with the CNRS since 1991 and also the Head of the Research Group on EMC. He has been with the XLIM Laboratory, University of Limoges, since 2006. His current research interests include improvements on numerical modeling particularly in FDTD for solving EMC problems and for ground penetration studies in the radar domain. He also works on the electromagnetic wave propagation in particular media, such as over the sea for radars in the high-frequency (HF) range. Prof. Reineix is a member of the French Electrical Engineering Society (SEE).
