Ahmed Al-Gindy received the Bachelor of Engineering degree in electrical and computer engineering from the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Maritime Academy for Science and Technology, Egypt, and the M.Phil. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical and communication engineering from the Faculty of Engineering and Informatics, University of Bradford, U.K. He is a certified Academic Program Assessor with the Association of Arab Universities, Department of Quality Assurance, and Quality Enhancement in Higher Education Institute. He is also certified in business process management and improvements from George Washington University, USA. He has developed several curriculum and instruction manuals in engineering and computing technologies. His research interests include various signal and image processing algorithms, RFID technologies, and artificial intelligence.
