Prof. dr hab. Adam Huczynski (Full Professor at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Poland) was born in 1979. He graduated from the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan with B.S. (2002, Physics), M.S. (2004, Physics), M.S. (2004, Chemistry) Ph.D. (2008, Chemistry) and D.Sc (2013, Chemistry) degrees. He started his academic carrier as a lecturer at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan (Faculty of Chemistry) from 2008. He has been given the Award of Polish Chemical Society (award in the competition for the best doctoral thesis, 2009) and the Award of Polish Chemical Society, Wiktor Kemula Award (the competition for the best habilitation, 2014), Stipends from Foundation of Polish Science for young researchers (2007, 2008), Scholarship from the city of Poznan (2008), Stipends from the Polish Minister of Science and Higher Education for outstanding young scientists (2011-2013), and other awards. His major research interests are organic synthetic chemistry, spectroscopy (FT-IR, NMR, MS), bioorganic and medicinal chemistry.
