Bio
She is an anthropologist whose research is at the interface of people and nature; exploring and understanding people's perceptions and values to engage with them effectively around biodiversity conservation and the environment. She is particularly interested in how we teach and engage HE students around these topics and is proud to be a Senior Fellow of Advance HE. Her research uses qualitative research methods, and she has extensive experience of teaching these approaches both within conservation science and beyond. Amanda is currently conducting research into the representation of wildlife and farming in children's literature.
