Ahmed Aly Hussein received the M.D. degree from the Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University, Egypt, in 2007, and the M.Sc. degree in urology from Cairo University, in 2012. He completed his urology residency with Cairo University Hospitals, in 2013. He received the membership of the Royal College of Surgeons, U.K., in 2013. In 2015, he joined the Urologic Oncology Fellowship Program at the Roswell Park Cancer Institute, Buffalo, NY, USA. He is currently an Assistant Professor of oncology with the Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, Buffalo. His research interests include robot-assisted radical cystectomy, safe brain–computer interaction, artificial intelligence, and the enhancement of patient safety through the optimization of communication and surgical team dynamics. He was a recipient of the prestigious Société Internationale d’Urologie-University of California at San Francisco Research Fellowship.
