Abhijeet Sangwan

Abhijeet Sangwan (S’06–M’03) received the Bachelor's degree in electronics and communication engineering from Visveswaraiah Technological University, Bangalore, India, in 2002, and the Master's and Ph.D. degrees from Concordia University, Montréal, QC, Canada, and The University of Texas at Dallas, Dallas, TX, USA, in 2006 and 2009, respectively. During 2002–2003, he worked for MindTree Consulting where he designed and developed enterprise data warehouse systems for Unilever. He interned with the Human Language Technologies Group at IBM's T.J. Watson Research Center, Yorktown Heights in 2008. From 2009, he has been a part of The Center for Robust Speech Systems, The University of Texas at Dallas. He is an experienced technologist with a demonstrated history of working in the information technology industry. He is currently the Chief Technology Officer at pulseM by Speetra Inc., Dallas, TX, USA. Since 2011, he has been a Research Assistant Professor with The University of Texas at Dallas affiliated with Center for Robust Speech Systems. His interest include machine learning, sentiment analysis, software development and SAAS. His research interests include automatic speech recognition, automatic accent assessment, and language identification system.
