Abdelkader Souifi

Abdelkader Souifi was born in Toulouse, France, in 1966. He received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in electronics from University Paul Sabatier, Toulouse, in 1990, and the Ph.D. degree in microelectronics from the National Institute of Applied Sciences of Lyon (INSA de Lyon), Lyon, France, in 1993. From 1995 to 2001, he was an Assistant Professor with INSA de Lyon. Since 2001, he has been a Full Professor with the Material Science and Engineering Department, where he was with the Nanotechnology Institute of Lyon Laboratory. He has authored over 200 articles and two inventions. His current research interests include nanostructure-based CMOS devices and sensors and 3-D integration on CMOS technologies.
