I am interested in responses of the biosphere to a changing climate focusing on, but not limited to, the exchange of carbon, water, and energy between the atmosphere and biosphere, also considering the non-biogenic sources such as traffic and emissions from urban areas. I use methods of geo-statistical data analysis in order to put the results from neural networks or biosphere models into a spatial context or to spatially correlate causes and effects.
